Not Just a Phone - Mobile Phones

Study of Mobile Compu

For less than three hundred dollars, you can now get a ten inch Acer computer, one with a sizable hard drive and a very workable screen size and keyboard size, that will easily fit in a large purse and is light and portable enough to take with you basically everywhere.

Although an extra power charger may seem like an extravagance, the results could be catastrophic if your current charger is lost or becomes defective. Because without a power charger you will not be able to recharge your laptop's battery and you will also not be able to operate your computer from an electrical outlet. A laptop's power charger will consist of the power adapter itself and its associated connecting cables.

An external mouse and keyboard are not essential, but they are preferred by many laptop users when they have a significant amount of work to do. That is because they like the larger size and tactile feedback of these devices and because they are easier to manipulate, resulting in fewer typing errors. They will use the laptop's incorporated input devices when they are on the go, but plug in their external mouse and keyboard when they are working at their desktops for an extended time period.

Similar to India, it's hard to quantify adoption in more developed markets. It's well known that Asia and Europe are far ahead in terms of mLearning adoption compared to the North American market. The US market for Mobile Learning products and services is growing at a five-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 21.7% and revenues reached $538 million in 2007. It would be fair to say that revenues in Europe and Asia will be equal to if not greater than the North American market.

An external hard drive or secondary internal hard drive should be considered to avoid a potential disaster if your laptop's hard drive fails. If they are sufficiently sized, they can also be used to store your music and video files and free up some disk space on your primary drive.

A USB drive or a pen drive are nice external devices that allow you to easily transfer your files from your laptop to your desktop computer. They connect to the computer's USB port and allow you to easily move files between computers using your system's file utility software. Operators used to use a floppy disk for this purpose, but today's USB drives are easier to swap between computers and can handle much larger file sizes. They can also be used to secure sensitive data.

Another thing I love about the Acer ten inch computer is that it doesn't run on Windows Vista, it runs on Windows XP. Because in my line of work as a freelance niche marketer and search engine optimization consultant, I use a lot of custom software, it's great to have a laptop that will easily run pretty much any custom software I want to install, smoothly and easily

What is the best laptop you can get for your money?

The extra money that one would save buying at cheaper price is worth it, especially if the low cost doesn't affect the quality. For example, no longer must you spend a fortune before you can enjoy owning a laptop. If you are one of such people and really need an affordable laptop, your first bet should be the Internet.

The beauty of the Internet nonetheless, it's not a "bed of roses" when it comes to buying stuff online. Don’t' forget the following considerations as you prepare to shop online for your laptop:

It will amaze you to know that there are dozens of very affordable laptops to be bought from eBay.com and other such online auctions, if one searches well enough. First, do your due diligence on the online auction seller before parting with your money; whether it's eBay.com or not.

There's much more to the laptop than just the portability and beautiful appearance; take your time to find out if the RAM is high and if the disk space is big enough or not.

People who have bought such refurbished and cheap laptops in the past can tell you if you got a good deal or not. I don't recommend you buying a refurbished laptop that's doesn't have some sort of warranty

A laptop computer can be a great investment for anyone. They are great for kids in school all the way to business men on the go. They can help you stay connected anywhere you are. With a laptop you can take advantage of the many new hotspots that have been poping up and the places that offer free wifi.

Conclusively, ensure that you compare prices between 2 points of sale before you go ahead and commit yourself, in buying a laptop.

There was a new website put online about solar patio lights. This new site is called http://www.solar-yard-lights.com. Check out this new site if you are interested in getting solar lights for your home.

Registry Utilities Do they Work? A Close look at the Best Registry Repair Software

I'm a pretty skeptical guy. I avoid fads and new things like a passion and don't believe there are quick fixes for anything. This is why when all the buzz around registry repair utilities started to build I didn't believe that they could be a one fix all solution of PC problems.

The majority of sites I found during research only talked about the pros of registry repair software. None presented any of the cons to these computer programs or what they were actually capable of doing to improve PC performance. If I wanted to learn about how these programs could improve performance I was going to have to test it myself. So that's what I did I created a comparison test for Registry Cleaners on my own test PC to decide if these programs really worked. My results? Well they were actually surprising.

The Scan Speed Meant Nothing

I timed all of the registry cleaners I tested to see how long they took to do a complete scan. Times for the full scan were all between one and ten minutes long. With most programs a second scan, which I performed each time to double check the number of errors found, seemed to be faster then the first scan.

The fastest scanner didn't mean the best performance though. My conclusion was that the speed of the scan had nothing to do with the best registry cleaner.

Repairs and Errors Weren't Equal

This really surprised me. The number of errors found during the full scan of my computer wasn't the same number of repairs, or better stated changes made to my registry. The top registry utility made about 60% of the changes found in the full scan. I can only assume that registry cleaners find as many errors as possible so it looks like your computer really needs a cleaning.

Bonus Features Made the Difference

This was the test that really started to make me more of a believer in registry repair software. At this point I had found tiny improvements in performance after repairing all errors found in a complete scan. After running a few of the added features such as file cleaners, evidence erasers and start-up managers I got some pretty good speed improvements.

The start up time for windows® was reduced, also several of my most used applications opened faster. I measured the performance improvement by timing the start up with a computer start up timer so everything was equal.

Final Results

While my test PC wasn't that infected with junk files and registry errors I was able to squeeze out some performance. How ever it wasn't really from the registry repair portion of each program. The improvement came from running the additional programs that came with the software.

My result suggest that you can see improvement using registry cleaners, but be sure to get one with a refund policy in case you don't see big changes.
